Ribbon Salad


First Layer

1 large pkg. lime jello
1 large can crushed pineapple (20 oz.) drained
1 c. boiling water

Dissolve jello in boiling water.   Add pineapple.  Pour into a long, large Pyrex dish.   Let chill until firm.

Second Layer

  • 1 large pkg. lemon jello

  • 1 c. boiling water

  • 1 large pkg. cream cheese, softened 

  • 1 c. nuts, chopped

Dissolve jello in boiling water.  Mix with cream cheese and nuts.  Pour on first layer and let this chill till very firm, about 1/2 day or more.

Third Layer

  • 1 large pkg. strawberry jello

  • 1 c. boiling water

  • 1 large can fruit cocktail (do not drain)

Dissolve jello in boiling water.  Add the fruit cocktail.  Add this mixture to the second layer of jello.  Chill till very firm.  Cut in squares.   Serve on lettuce leaves, if desired.  This is colorful and nice for any occasion.
