Writing Skills and Methods You Don’t Want to Miss
Teach your child the different parts of speech such as nouns, verbs, pronouns, adverbs, adjectives, etc. in this video. Discuss with your child.
First day, tell your child to think of a main idea for one paragraph. Put the paragraph aside for a few minutes then proofread and edit. Second day have your child think about another main topic and write another paragraph. Again, lay paragraph aside for a few minutes then edit and proofread. Continue this each day. Put your paragraphs together for your rough draft. Be sure to edit and proofread. Finally, rewrite your rough draft to get your final product. This is your final paper.
Suggestion: Use a different color of magi marker for each part of speech.
Example: Nouns are reds. Verbs are green.
